Identifying with the best in You!
What is Yoga Therapy?  It is the process of empowering individuals to progress toward improved health and well-being through the application of the philosophy and practice of Yoga.

EB’s yoga therapy practice is seeded in the belief that we are each perfect and whole, exactly as we are. She has trained in the Integrated Movement Therapy™ (IMT) approach to physical, mental and spiritual healing.*

IMT is a systematic approach to healing created by the Samarya Center of Seattle, Washtington (www.samaryacenter.org).  What makes IMT different from other yoga therapies is: 1. its basis is in neurophysiology and clinical experience, and 2. it’s focus is on divinity rather than pathology.  That is, we are all divine individuals, not the labels of our disease.

By working cooperatively with health professionals across the allopathic-naturopathic spectrum, E.B. is able to get a wide range of feedback and advice to help compliment yoga therapy sessions.  She encourages partnerships with client’s existing health professionals.

E.B. works with individuals with the following mental/physical challenges:

  •     Depression
  •     Anxiety
  •     Body Image Issues
  •     Eating Disorders
  •     Stroke Recovery
  •     Childbirth Preparation
  •     Post-Partum Fitness
  •     Neck & Shoulder Pain
  •     Attention Deficit Challenges

E.B. has worked extensively with ESL children and adults.
